LAME 3.100 released

LAME 3.100 has been finally released. It performs quality-wise as well-tested 3.99.5, but there are several security and buffering / caching features fixed. Below is a (local) link to 32-bit Windows -version of 3.100. It has beenĀ optimized for Intel processors.

Quality-wise you should really think of re-encoding your archives with “-V2”, if you haven’t already done so. Personally I use the setting “-Q1.7” and LAME 3.99.5o, which gives me a nice lowpass.
